Isabela Ferrer, who plays young Lily in It Ends With Us, alleges director Justin Baldoni harassed her through legal tactics related to his ongoing dispute with Blake Lively.

Isabela Ferrer, known for her role as young Lily Bloom in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s *It Ends With Us*, has accused director and star Justin Baldoni of harassment through legal tactics. This allegation emerges from an ongoing legal conflict involving Baldoni and co-star Blake Lively, who filed a complaint against him in December 2024.

The situation escalated when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and claimed he orchestrated a retaliatory smear campaign against her. Baldoni and his representatives have denied these accusations. As part of the legal proceedings, Lively issued a subpoena to Ferrer in February 2025, seeking communications relevant to her allegations against Baldoni. Ferrer complied and provided the requested information.

In a turn of events, Baldoni issued his own subpoena to Ferrer in August 2025, requesting similar communications that overlapped with Lively’s request. Baldoni claimed that Ferrer was unresponsive and unreachable. Ferrer’s legal team responded by accusing Baldoni of employing “bad faith tactics,” asserting that his actions were primarily aimed at harassing her. They are requesting the court to deny Baldoni’s motion and to impose sanctions against him, arguing that the subpoena is unnecessarily burdensome.

Ferrer also invoked an indemnity clause in her acting contract, which requires Wayfarer Studios, Baldoni’s production company, to cover her legal fees related to Lively’s subpoena. Ferrer claims this obligation has not been honored. Her legal team stated, “It Ends, LLC has not honored its obligations.” They allege that Wayfarer Studios conditioned indemnification on Ferrer surrendering control over her response, hindering her ability to provide documents that reflect the factual situation.

Ferrer’s legal team contends that Baldoni’s subpoenas represent “transparent efforts to exert pressure” on her. They also claim that Baldoni’s team publicized home addresses that could belong to Ferrer, describing this behavior as not new for Baldoni. The motion asserts that the studio’s delay in finalizing indemnity is a strategy to financially pressure Ferrer, complicating her ability to seek reasonable extensions from Lively’s legal team as the situation unfolds.

This off-screen conflict is compounded by earlier legal issues involving Baldoni. In a separate, now-dismissed countersuit worth $400 million, Baldoni accused Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of instructing Ferrer to “shun” him, allegedly to create the impression of wrongdoing on his part.

As the legal dramas continue, Ferrer, along with other cast members of *It Ends With Us*, notably unfollowed Baldoni on social media and were absent from promotional events surrounding the film’s release. The ongoing cases involving Lively and Wayfarer Studios are scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.

A spokesperson for Baldoni has yet to comment on the latest allegations and filings in this increasingly complex situation. The outcomes of these legal battles may have significant implications for all parties involved, as the entertainment industry watches closely.
