According to The Sunday Times, Grosvenor has already approached William with the request to take on the role of godfather. He has yet to make a final decision regarding Harry, who has expressed a desire to reconcile with his family in recent months.

A friend of Grosvenor remarked, “Hugh is one of very few close friends of William and Harry’s who has maintained strong bonds and a line of communication with both.
