kristin-cavallari-reflects-on-brutal-birth-experience-and-divorce-claims

Former reality star Kristin Cavallari recently opened up about her challenging childbirth experience during the birth of her first child, Camden, in August 2012. In a candid discussion on her podcast, Let’s Be Honest, Cavallari described feeling as though her body was “ripping apart” during labor, despite receiving an epidural.

Cavallari, who shares three children—Camden (13), Jaxon (10), and Saylor (9)—with ex-husband Jay Cutler, expressed the emotional and physical toll of the experience. “What the epidural did for me was it took away the contractions, it didn’t take away the feeling of [her] vagina literally feeling like it was ripping in half,” she recalled. “This is real. It was brutal.”

On the podcast, she highlighted her tendency to “suffer in silence,” recalling tears streaming down her face while she lay in her hospital bed. Cavallari stated, “I remember just laying in my hospital bed, just laying there in silence.” She acknowledged that without the epidural, the situation could have been much worse, expressing gratitude for the pain relief it provided.

In a separate but related discussion, Cutler recently contested claims made by Cavallari regarding their divorce settlement. He described her assertion that she received “not a penny” from their separation as “very untrue.” Speaking on his own podcast, Take It Outside, Cutler emphasized the impracticality of such a claim, given their length of marriage and shared assets.

“Let’s think about this logically,” Cutler remarked. “Married for, I don’t know, seven years or so, three kids. You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It’s online.” He pointed out that there is no judge in Tennessee who would allow him to retain all of his earnings from their marriage. Additionally, he noted that Cavallari’s business, Uncommon James, was considered a marital asset because it was funded during their relationship.

Cutler characterized Cavallari’s comments as “reckless” and “borderline slander,” insisting that the claims misrepresent their financial arrangements. He stated, “I think it’s reckless. I think it’s borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage.”

While Cutler refrained from providing a detailed breakdown of their financial settlement, he firmly asserted that it was “definitely not zero” and sufficient for Cavallari to live comfortably.

Cavallari’s claims about her financial independence were made in June during her series Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour. She stated, “Our revenue is close to $50 million a year,” and added that her success is often minimized due to her status as an athlete’s wife. She emphasized, “I am, to this day, 100 percent owner, and I’ve never taken any outside funding.”

The ongoing discussions surrounding their divorce have drawn significant public interest, with both parties highlighting their perspectives on their financial arrangements and personal experiences. As they navigate these complex issues, it remains clear that both Cavallari and Cutler are committed to addressing the narrative surrounding their separation.
