
URGENT UPDATE: An armed group is currently evading law enforcement after crashing a stolen vehicle in Glenview, north of Brisbane. The incident occurred when the car collided with a property on Old Caloundra Road shortly before 12:55 PM today.
Police have confirmed that multiple individuals, one reportedly armed, fled the scene on foot and are believed to be hiding in the vicinity. In response to this escalating situation, authorities have established a strict exclusion zone, urging the public to steer clear of the area and advising residents to remain indoors for their safety.
This exclusion zone encompasses a stretch of the Bruce Highway and extends to the edges of Corbould Park near Caloundra. Specialized police units have been deployed to the scene to assist in the search for the suspects.
