BREAKING NEWS: Three individuals have been charged in connection with the alleged assisted suicide of a Gold Coast man using a veterinary euthanasia drug. The charges come after a coroner’s report revealed that the **43-year-old man** died from acute pentobarbitone toxicity in April 2023. UPDATE: The **53-year-old** man from Main Beach faces serious charges, including two counts of aiding suicide and multiple counts related to drug trafficking. He is scheduled to appear at **Southport Magistrates Court** on **Thursday**. The **81-year-old woman** has also been charged with aiding suicide and will return to court on **Tuesday**. Meanwhile, the **80-year-old** man from Ashmore faces charges related to trafficking and possession, with a court date set for **September 26**.
