UPDATE: The St George Illawarra Dragons held a thrilling awards night on October 24, 2023, celebrating the end of their NRL and NRLW seasons. Club co-captain Clint Gutherson made headlines by securing double honours, earning both the Red V Members Player of the Year and the coveted Dragons Medal.

In an equally impressive display, women’s centre Keele Browne was recognized twice, taking home the NRLW Coaches’ Award and the Community Involvement Award in her fifth season with the Dragons. The recognition highlights the critical contributions of these athletes both on and off the field.

Additionally, Damien Cook, Gutherson’s trusted teammate, was awarded the Immortals Trophy, an accolade determined by the coaching staff and living Dragons Immortals, marking a significant achievement in his career.

“This is a celebration of our hard work and commitment,” said Gutherson during his acceptance speech. “The support from our fans has been incredible, and we will continue to strive for excellence.”

Among the notable awards, Cody Ramsey received the NSW Cup Coach’s Award, a heartwarming recognition following his inspiring return to the sport after a serious health battle that nearly ended his career. His journey serves as a beacon of hope and resilience for many.
