IMG (International Medical Group) has renewed its partnership with School the World for a seventh time, continuing its efforts to enhance educational opportunities in Central America. From March 1-7, 2026, a group of IMG employees will embark on a week-long corporate service trip to Guatemala to assist in the construction of a new school for a community in need.

This initiative reflects IMG’s commitment to social responsibility and employee engagement. “Our ongoing partnership with School the World continues to be a meaningful part of IMG’s culture,” said Josh Stoffel, IMG’s Chief Human Resources Officer. He emphasized the importance of allowing employees to engage directly in impactful work that aligns with the company’s mission of supporting the well-being of customers and communities globally.

Selection for this service trip was competitive. Employees submitted applications through written essays or videos, with a careful review process leading to the selection of seven participants. This opportunity not only allows IMG employees to contribute to a critical cause but also fosters personal growth and teamwork.

Founded in 2009, School the World aims to combat extreme poverty by providing access to quality education for children in Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama. Since its inception, the organization has successfully built over 170 schools and served nearly 190,000 children. Kate Curran, Founder and CEO of School the World, expressed enthusiasm for the continued partnership: “Their ongoing support plays a vital role in advancing our mission to address the global education crisis. We are looking forward to another impactful trip to Guatemala together.”

The upcoming service trip will not only continue to support the educational needs of underserved communities but also highlight the collaborative efforts of businesses and non-profits in addressing pressing global challenges.
