UPDATE: A tragic car crash near Menzies in the Goldfields has resulted in the death of a 50-year-old male passenger. The incident occurred Monday, October 16, 2023, at approximately 3:45 PM when a white Toyota Hilux dual-cab utility rolled over on Menzies-Sandstone Road.
Authorities report that the passenger suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others—a 15-year-old male and a 40-year-old male—sustained minor injuries and were treated at the location. This devastating event highlights the ongoing risks associated with road travel.
