Logitech has introduced the Muse, a precision digital pencil specifically designed for Apple’s Vision Pro headset. Set to launch in Australia on October 29 at a price of $189.99, Muse aims to enhance tactile control and spatial interaction within Apple’s mixed-reality environment. This device integrates six degrees of freedom (6DoF) motion tracking with real-time haptic feedback, allowing creative professionals to engage with immersive applications with remarkable precision.

The Muse stylus is engineered around Logitech’s low-latency tracking system. It features intuitive button controls and a tactile response that enables users to “feel” their digital interactions. According to Joseph Mingori, Logitech’s General Manager and Vice President of Mobile and Audio Solutions, “Muse unlocks new ways for creative pros to design, annotate and navigate with precision in immersive apps.” This tool is particularly beneficial for tasks such as sketching or editing 3D content and reviewing architectural models, facilitating a natural interaction with virtual objects.

Expanded Compatibility and Market Reach

Several developers of visionOS applications are expected to roll out compatibility with Muse in the coming weeks. Notable names in this space include Crayon, doppl by Interaptix, Sketch Pro, and Spatial Analogue. This development enhances the functionality of Muse, positioning it as a vital tool for professionals working with Apple’s innovative spatial computing platform.

Following its debut in Australia, Logitech plans to expand the Muse’s availability to 10 additional markets by mid-November. This expansion will include countries such as Canada, France, Germany, the U.K., the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The strategic rollout aims to cater to a growing audience of users eager to explore the capabilities of mixed-reality applications.

Logitech’s Muse represents a significant step forward in tools designed for immersive technology, offering enhanced precision and interactivity for creative professionals. As the demand for effective digital design tools continues to rise, Logitech’s latest offering could redefine how users engage with digital content in mixed-reality environments.
