This Sunday, the Dragons faced Lancefield Black in a match that unfortunately ended in abandonment due to weather conditions, with the Tigers scoring 0-24 before the game was called off. Woodburn expressed uncertainty regarding the Tigers’ lineup ahead of the match, further complicating the Dragons’ preparations.
As the Dragons look to build momentum, the coaching responsibilities rest heavily on Woodburn’s shoulders. Having claimed the league’s best and fairest award last season, she is committed to enhancing her coaching skills while fostering a positive atmosphere for her players. “My focus is improving on being a coach,” she said, highlighting her dedication to the team’s growth.
