This urgent move comes as reports reveal a staggering 6,000 incidents of abandoned trolleys were logged last month alone through the app Snap, Send Solve, which allows users to report local issues across Australia. CEO Danny Gorog highlighted that nuisance trolleys rank among the top five concerns for the platform nationwide. “Just like we’ve seen with public scooters and bikes, we’ve seen trolleys in creeks, up trees, on beaches, and in the middle of the road,” Gorog remarked.
