Previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Galbus has been instrumental in enhancing operational performance and advancing the company’s growth strategy. Galbus, a cancer survivor, holds a personal connection to CQ Medical’s mission of improving care and outcomes for patients and healthcare providers. He is acknowledged for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, which have driven innovation and performance within the organization. With over 30 years of experience in regulated industries, including aerospace and medical devices, Galbus has held senior roles at prominent companies such as Dow Inc., Saint-Gobain, and Zodiac Aerospace.
Leadership Transition and Strategic Vision
As CEO, Galbus plans to develop actionable operating plans while supporting acquisition and integration efforts. He aims to reinforce a culture of trust, accountability, and innovation within CQ Medical. “CQ Medical has a unique opportunity to innovate in ways that directly impact patients and those who care for them,” said Galbus. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation we have created.” His academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Purdue University.
Mike Sutter, the outgoing CEO, will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
