Emangeo’s Brick Oven Pizza is preparing to expand its presence with the opening of a new restaurant location in Jacksonville, Florida. The establishment has filed a permit with the Florida Department of Business and Regulation for a sit-down restaurant at 10920 Baymeadows Road. Scheduled to open by the end of December 2025, this location will mark the first full-service restaurant for the family-run business.
This new venue will feature a menu that includes both New York and New Haven style pizzas, catering to diverse tastes. Among the offerings is a cauliflower crust option that is gluten-friendly, allowing for customization with a wide variety of toppings. Patrons can choose from ingredients such as sausage, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, steak, and even pickles to create their ideal pizza.
The restaurant’s unique approach involves using a brick oven that can reach temperatures of up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit. This high heat allows for pizzas to cook in just three to five minutes, ensuring a crisp, thin crust characteristic of New England style pies. While New Haven style pizzas will be baked in the brick oven, New York style options will be prepared in a Baker’s Pride oven.
In addition to pizzas, Emangeo’s will serve a selection of grinders, which are akin to sub sandwiches in other regions. Menu items will range from a hearty chicken parmesan to classic ham and cheese variations, appealing to a broad audience.
The journey of Emangeo’s began in 2021 when owners George and Tina Schneider launched the business as a food truck. They expanded to a carryout location in Green Cove Springs in 2023, and now aim to provide a sit-down dining experience in Jacksonville. The new restaurant is expected to operate as a fast-casual venue during the day and transition to a full-service establishment for dinner.
As Emangeo’s prepares for its grand opening, the local community eagerly anticipates the arrival of this new dining option, which promises to deliver both quality and convenience in a vibrant atmosphere.
