The Body Fit Training (BFT) event made its highly anticipated return on December 7, 2025, hosting more than 400 delegates at the Crystalbrook Riley and the Cairns Convention Centre. The national franchise conference attracted franchise partners and studio managers from across Australia and beyond, creating a vibrant atmosphere for networking and collaboration.
Highlighting Cairns as an ideal location, Tara Bennett, General Manager of Partnerships and Events for Tourism Tropical North Queensland, noted that the region combines modern facilities with a relaxed tropical charm. “The 2025 theme of ‘Empower’ fully utilized the city’s tropical outdoor lifestyle,” Ms. Bennett explained. The event took advantage of the stunning waterfront, featuring a boardwalk that connects Crystalbrook Riley to the convention centre.
Participants enjoyed a daily Run Club, jogging along the scenic waterfront, while fitness sessions were conducted beside the pool at the Riley. The atmosphere encouraged delegates not only to engage in fitness activities but also to unwind in the beautiful surroundings.
The conference also showcased local produce from Tropical North Queensland, with menus featuring fresh, regionally sourced ingredients. This focus on local cuisine not only supported local businesses but also enhanced the overall experience for attendees.
