Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is reportedly a target for Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants look to strengthen their squad. According to TEAMtalk, Madrid’s interest comes amidst discussions at United regarding Dalot’s future, especially given his contract, which runs until 2028 with an option for an additional year.

Dalot’s versatility and the advancing age of Dani Carvajal, who is currently 33, play a significant role in Real Madrid’s pursuit. While the club secured Trent Alexander-Arnold during the summer transfer window, they are keen on bolstering their options further with Dalot, who has impressed in recent seasons. Other clubs, including Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, are also reportedly interested in the Portuguese international.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is monitoring the situation of Pedro Porro at Tottenham Hotspur. City is in search of a new right-back and has noted Porro’s contract renewal discussions, which currently extend until 2028. City’s interest is fueled by their previous association with Porro from 2019 to 2022, even though he did not make a first-team appearance at the time. Spurs are reportedly prepared to offer Porro a substantial pay rise to fend off interest from City and other clubs.

In another significant development, Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus is reportedly nearing an agreement with AC Milan. The future of Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona, who is set to leave when his contract expires in the summer, has opened the door for Vlahovic, who is also likely to become a free agent. However, Vlahovic’s wage demands of €12 million per season could present a hurdle for Milan, especially given his modest tally of six goals in 17 appearances.

Juventus is also interested in signing Davide Frattesi from Internazionale, while reports suggest that Khephren Thuram might be heading in the opposite direction to join his brother Marcus Thuram. Although previous approaches to sign Frattesi from Juventus were dismissed by Inter, the club continues to look for possible replacements, including Manu Koné from Roma and Éderson from Atalanta.

On the defensive front, Dayot Upamecano of Bayern Munich is in negotiations to extend his contract beyond this summer. However, both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in his services, indicating they could meet his financial expectations if he becomes a free agent.

As the January transfer window approaches, clubs are preparing for various potential moves. Liverpool is reportedly considering Jeremy Jacquet from Stade Rennais, Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, and Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund as potential replacements for Ibrahima Konate. Additionally, Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is on Internazionale’s radar to replace Yann Sommer.

West Ham is also exploring options to enhance their attacking options, with interest in Josh Sargent from Norwich City, while Fiorentina is looking at Albert Gudmundsson as a possible signing should they fail to land Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United.

As clubs assess their rosters and prepare for the upcoming transfer window, the landscape of European football is poised for significant changes, with numerous deals potentially shaping the future of some of the continent’s biggest teams.
