UPDATE: The search for missing 30-year-old Westina Winmar intensifies as her family pleads for public help in locating her. Last seen on December 9, 2025, in Laverton, Westina’s unexplained disappearance has plunged her family into distress.

Paige Winmar, Westina’s younger sister, expressed her anguish in a press briefing this morning, stating, “It’s been really hard on us family. We just need some answers and know her whereabouts because her mental health is not really good.” The emotional toll on the family is mounting as they approach the one-month mark of her absence.

Authorities are actively seeking information from the public regarding Westina, last spotted exiting a vehicle in Laverton. Sen. Sgt Brendan Grogan of the Laverton police described her as approximately 165cm tall, of solid build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He noted she might identify herself as “Mrs A” or “Mrs B.” On the day she vanished, Westina was last seen wearing black croc shoes, black tights, and a black singlet with colored stripes.

Police believe Westina has connections in Laverton, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and Northam, and may have ties to family in Perth. Authorities are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them immediately. Additionally, they are requesting dash cam, CCTV, and mobile phone footage from the timeframe of 9 AM on December 9 to 2 AM on December 10.
