A family-owned, golf-themed pub is set to expand its footprint in Washington with a new location in Woodinville. Flatstick Pub, founded by brothers Andy and Sam Largent, will take over the space previously occupied by Walla Walla Steak Co. at 13205 N.E. 175th Street. The opening is anticipated later this year, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The Woodinville site will embody Flatstick’s vision of an “adult playground,” featuring miniature golf and various golf-themed games designed by the Largents. Guests can expect to engage in classic games while enjoying a selection of local beers and food. The Largents emphasize the importance of community and fun, aiming to create a space where friends and families can gather over nostalgic games, delicious bites, and refreshing brews.
Flatstick Pub originally opened in Kirkland in 2014 and has since expanded to several locations including Pioneer Square, South Lake Union, Spokane, Bellingham, and Redmond. The Woodinville site will mark its seventh establishment, showcasing its commitment to growth within the local market.
The concept behind Flatstick Pub stems from a desire to create a relaxed atmosphere centered around craft beer and innovative entertainment. According to their website, “Flatstick was inspired by an idea to create a casual beer-focused pub that featured a unique and challenging miniature golf course. We’re passionate about craft beer and supporting our community. From day 1 we have only offered beer from independent breweries located here in the great state of Washington. You’ll never find corporate beer here.”
In addition to its beer offerings, the menu includes a range of snacks, salads, and sandwiches, with pizzas being a highlight. Signature options feature the Par 3, topped with red sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella; the Big Boy, loaded with red sauce, bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, and mozzarella; and the Green Jacket, which combines pesto, Italian sausage, red onion, pepperoncini, fontina, and mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic glaze and chili flakes.
Beyond beer, Flatstick Pub also offers a variety of house-made cocktails, mocktails, and shooters, enhancing its appeal as a versatile dining destination.
While an official opening date for the Woodinville location has yet to be announced, patrons can stay informed through Flatstick’s website and follow their updates on Instagram and Facebook. The expansion signals a promising future for Flatstick Pub as it continues to carve out a niche in Washington’s vibrant hospitality industry.
