The Wolfe Brothers triumphed at the 2026 Country Music Awards of Australia, held in Tamworth, winning five Golden Guitar awards, including Album of the Year for their album titled Australian Made. This recognition further cements their status as one of Australia’s most celebrated country music duos. The awards ceremony took place on the evening of January 21, 2026, showcasing the depth of talent within the Australian country music scene.

Nick and Tom Wolfe received accolades for contemporary album of the year, duo of the year, vocal collaboration of the year, and heritage song of the year. Reflecting on their journey, the brothers expressed gratitude for their roots, stating they had reconsidered moving to the United States. “This is our home, this is where our family is, this is the country we care about,” said Tom Wolfe following their wins. He emphasized that Australian country music resonates with authentic stories and experiences, saying, “It’s from the heart, it’s songs about farmers, battlers, real people and us.”

The Wolfe Brothers now boast a total of 15 Golden Guitar awards throughout their career. Their success aligns with a growing international interest in country music, which they plan to capture through their art.

Her collaboration with ex-husband Shane Nicholson, titled The Divorce Song, won both single of the year and song of the year. Chambers reflected on the emotional significance of the song, stating, “I don’t think we thought we’d be standing up here together again ever.” She noted the song’s unique place in their post-divorce relationship, highlighting the special bond they still share through music.

In other notable wins, Wade Forster was named both male artist of the year and new talent of the year, while Max Jackson took home the award for female artist of the year for the second consecutive year. The evening also saw Fanny Lumsden and her husband, Dan Stanley Freeman, winning video of the year for their work on Look At Me Now. Freeman described the video as a personal reflection of their lives together, saying, “It’s not the world of the song, it’s the world of our lives.”
