Liam Gallagher recently honored the dedicated Oasis fans who gathered at “Gallagher Hill” to experience the band’s concerts in Manchester. The iconic frontman, alongside his brother Noel Gallagher, has been performing a series of sold-out shows at Heaton Park. During a lively performance on July 19, 2025, Gallagher dedicated a spirited rendition of “Bring It On Down” to those without tickets who had come to enjoy the atmosphere outside the venue.
Before launching into the track from Oasis’ acclaimed 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, Gallagher addressed the crowd, saying, “If you lot are listening on the hill… bring it on down.” This heartfelt gesture resonated with many, as the band’s five-night run in Manchester is expected to draw around 400,000 fans overall. This figure does not include the numerous fans who flocked to the area, eager to be near the music despite lacking tickets.
The grassy mound, affectionately termed “Gallagher Hill” by fans and local media, has become a gathering point for those wishing to soak up the concert’s energy. Despite a fence being erected last week by Manchester City Council to deter crowds and protect local wildlife, the allure of the performances drew numerous fans back to the site on Saturday night. Warnings from officials stating that “you won’t be able to see the show” did little to dissuade attendees, who were determined to be part of the experience.
In addition to celebrating his fans, Gallagher also took aim at viral moments from a recent Coldplay concert, where a couple was filmed embracing on stadium screens. To the crowd’s delight, he quipped, “We don’t do that… round here,” eliciting laughter and cheers.
The concert, which took place without major incidents according to Greater Manchester Police, did see 14 arrests for various offenses, including fraud, assault, and drink driving. The final performance at Heaton Park is scheduled for the evening of July 20, 2025, before the tour continues to Wembley Stadium in London.
This reunion tour marks the first time in over 15 years that Oasis has performed together, attracting massive crowds across the UK. With the tour projected to gross over £100 million, both Liam and Noel Gallagher are expected to earn as much as £40 million each from the concerts, alongside lucrative brand and merchandise deals. The overwhelming demand for tickets and the electric atmosphere underscore the enduring legacy of Oasis and their connection with fans.
