Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the 33-year-old pop star, has expressed her desire for a future reunion of the girl group Little Mix to be “impactful.” Currently focused on her solo career following the group’s hiatus in 2022, Pinnock believes that she and her bandmates, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, should allow some time to pass before regrouping. During an appearance on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show on July 21, 2025, she emphasized the importance of waiting to ensure the reunion resonates deeply with fans.
Pinnock stated, “We cannot do this (get back together) for a little while because otherwise it wouldn’t be as impactful.” She added, “Let’s enjoy solo man but I do feel that people miss Little Mix.” The singer suggested that they could explore performing solo projects while also collaborating, stating, “What we could do is we could still do our solo stuff, do a little Blackpink, that would be kind of iconic.”
In addition to discussing Little Mix, Pinnock revealed her admiration for the British R&B group Honeyz, expressing a desire for them to reunite. She fondly recalled performing their songs during her childhood talent shows, saying, “I used to sing Honeyz for talent shows when I was younger.”
Pinnock is also navigating her personal life as a mother to three-year-old twin daughters with her husband, footballer Andre Gray. She has recently joined a parents’ WhatsApp group as her children prepare to start school. “The WhatsApp group is already popping off and I’m getting overwhelmed,” she shared. “But for them, I want to be quite involved and meet the parents and all of that!”
Reflecting on her time with Little Mix, Pinnock noted that the trio briefly considered ending their hiatus after enjoying their successful Confetti tour. Ultimately, she feels that focusing on their solo endeavors was the right choice. She remarked, “The three of us have this genuine sisterhood, and no one else will ever get it.”
Pinnock described the tour as “so beautiful” that there were moments when they contemplated continuing as Little Mix. However, she believes that at that point in their lives, it would not have worked.
Initially apprehensive about embarking on a solo career, Pinnock now feels confident in her abilities as a standalone artist. “I believe in my talent. I believe in myself and also, I just love to sing,” she stated. “There’s plenty of things I could do. But I know music is where I’m supposed to be. I’m excited to see where it’s going to take me next.”
As Leigh-Anne Pinnock continues to shape her individual path in music, fans remain eager to see what the future holds for her and Little Mix. The prospect of a reunion, when the time is right, adds an exciting layer to her evolving career.
