agaveros-guac-margs-set-to-open-in-south-boston-soon

A new restaurant, Agaveros Guac & Margs, is poised to bring a modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine to South Boston. Owned by Sergio Barragan, the establishment is located at 11 W Broadway and is nearing its opening after nearly a year of preparation. Originally intended to serve as a fifth location for Ocho Cafe, those plans did not materialize, allowing Barragan to launch his vision for a unique dining experience.

Agaveros Guac & Margs aims to offer “authentic but modern” Mexican dishes, featuring a diverse menu that includes burritos, tacos, enchiladas, salads, and, of course, guacamole and margaritas. Barragan emphasized the restaurant’s commitment to delivering a vibrant dining experience, noting the combination of “exotic drinks and dishes” that patrons can expect. According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, “From sizzling tacos to cheesy enchiladas, fresh salads, and hearty burritos – Agavero is bringing you the true taste of Mexico on every plate.”

The team is currently finalizing the restaurant’s interior and is in the process of obtaining the necessary permits for opening. A launch date is anticipated in the coming weeks, generating excitement among local food enthusiasts and residents eager for fresh dining options in the area.

As South Boston continues to evolve as a culinary destination, Agaveros Guac & Margs is set to become a notable addition. The restaurant not only reflects Barragan’s passion for Mexican cuisine but also aims to create unforgettable experiences for its guests. With the promise of authentic flavors and vibrant dishes, this new venue could quickly become a favorite among both locals and visitors.
