beach-hippie-coffee-expands-with-second-myrtle-beach-location

A popular coffee shop known for its house-roasted beans will open a second location in Myrtle Beach this fall. Beach Hippie Coffee, owned by Lori Lesnansky, will debut at 2700 N. Kings Highway in early October, expanding from its original site at 5311 N. Kings Highway. The new location aims to enhance the community experience by emphasizing connection, creativity, and joy through its offerings.

The coffee shop, which has garnered attention for its unique beverages and laid-back atmosphere, shared its plans via social media. “That means you’ll now find us on both sides of N. Kings Highway—double the love, double the goodness, double the coffee vibes,” Beach Hippie Coffee announced. The establishment is not only expanding its physical presence but is also broadening its menu to include a wider array of delicious items.

Beach Hippie Coffee roasts its beans in small batches and features a variety of beach-inspired drinks. Standout options include the Dream Brulee latte, a creamy combination of caramel, brown sugar, and vanilla with espresso and milk, and the WunderBar, which blends espresso, milk, dark mocha, pistachio, and white mocha, topped with cold foam to create a unique experience reminiscent of a Dubai chocolate bar.

In addition to its signature drinks, the cafe offers smoothies such as the Beach Detox, made with pineapple, mango, and ginger. The all-day food menu caters to diverse tastes, featuring indulgent items like the Bakin Me Crazy asiago bagel sandwich with bacon and double cheddar, as well as healthier options like the gluten-free and vegan Happiness waffle and the Flamingo dragon fruit bowl.

Beach Hippie Coffee has received accolades, winning the Coastal Coffee Fest in both 2024 and 2025, and being awarded the title of Beach of the Beach Coffee Shop for three consecutive years. The cafe’s mission is to foster a sense of community and relaxation, with a philosophy that encourages patrons to take a break from their daily routines. “We put our dream in motion to create a place where encouragement is refreshment for your soul,” the cafe’s website states.

While the exact opening date has yet to be confirmed, Beach Hippie Coffee is actively hiring for the new location. The recruitment process, humorously dubbed “Hippie Auditions,” aligns with the cafe’s relaxed, beach-inspired theme. Updates regarding the new location will be made available on the coffee shop’s website and social media platforms.

As the new outlet prepares to welcome customers, the excitement around Beach Hippie Coffee’s expansion reflects the growing demand for unique and community-oriented dining experiences in Myrtle Beach.
