the 2025 Chery International User Summit built an open global platform

The 2025 Chery International User Summit, held on October 25, 2025, in Wuhu, China, marked a significant milestone in the automotive industry as it focused on sustainable mobility and user collaboration. With the theme “Co-Create • Co-Define,” the summit established itself as a pivotal platform for addressing the global shift towards carbon neutrality and intelligent transformation in automotive ecosystems.

Co-Creating a Sustainable Future

Recognizing the urgent need to tackle climate change, Chery Group is integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its core strategies. This commitment was underscored by the official launch of the upgraded Chery Global ESG Advisory Alliance during the summit, which was attended by prominent figures, including Ban Ki-moon, the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations. The alliance aims to enhance global collaboration in sustainability practices within the automotive sector.

“In today’s changing world, we need vital leadership from all sectors to help transcend the pressing challenges we are facing,” Mr. Ban stated. “Chery’s commercially successful ESG practices could offer a viable new path for the larger automotive industry.”

Chery’s initiatives include establishing “Green Factories” and developing advanced new energy technologies. The company has committed an additional USD 6 million to a renewed three-year partnership with UNICEF, focusing on creating inclusive and safe learning environments for children globally. This partnership signifies Chery’s dedication to social responsibility alongside its environmental goals.

Technological Innovations and User Engagement

At the summit, Chery unveiled over ten breakthrough technologies, including a next-generation hybrid engine and autonomous driving models. This showcases the company’s commitment to a “Technology-Oriented” strategy that prioritizes innovation while remaining environmentally conscious. Additionally, the debut of AiMOGA Robotics, capable of performing tasks such as pouring juice, highlighted the intersection of technology and human interaction.

User engagement was a central theme of the summit, with over 3,000 representatives from Chery’s global user base participating as “product managers.” Attendees shared their experiences and provided input on vehicle design and features, reflecting Chery’s philosophy of co-creation. As one dealer from Brazil expressed, “We are not here to listen to stories—we are here to write them.” This approach ensures that user feedback directly influences Chery’s product development and brand evolution.

Chery’s commitment to sustainability was further emphasized through its partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), promoting nature-based solutions as part of its growth strategy. As the first Chinese automaker to receive the Sino-Europe Automotive Carbon Footprint Mutual Recognition Certificate, Chery’s ESG framework focuses on low-carbon transformation and integrity-driven growth.

As the automotive landscape continues to evolve, Chery’s initiatives at the 2025 International User Summit illustrate its proactive stance in leading the industry towards a sustainable future. By fostering collaboration with users and leveraging innovative technology, Chery is not just adapting to change but actively shaping it to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
