corazon-mining-advances-two-pools-project-with-new-tenure-grant

Corazon Mining has received formal approval for its two core tenements at the Two Pools gold project, located in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The approval from the State’s Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) allows the company to initiate extensive on-ground work. In preparation for this, Corazon has already completed the design for a diamond drilling program set to commence in early 2026.

The company is currently in discussions with drill contractors and is arranging for rigs to be available as soon as the final heritage clearances are obtained. Corazon has expedited this clearance process following the establishment of a significant land-access and cooperation agreement with the Gingirana people through the Marputu Aboriginal Corporation.

Drilling Plans and Historical Success

The upcoming diamond core drilling program aims to replicate some of the most promising historical drill results in order to independently verify previous high-grade gold findings. This initial phase will gather critical data regarding the orientation of mineralised structures, which is essential for exploring potential extensions of known gold shoots.

Notable historical exploration results that Corazon intends to confirm include findings from AIC Resources’ drilling efforts in 2018. Among these, the most impressive intercept was a 12-meter segment yielding an assay of 8.89 g/t gold from a depth of 79 meters, which included a remarkable 3-meter segment at 34.25 g/t. Other significant results include an 18-meter section with an assay of 3.89 g/t gold and a standout 1-meter intercept at 52.24 g/t gold.

Corazon is also advancing plans for follow-up reverse-circulation drilling to examine along-strike extensions and new targets identified through recent geophysical re-processing efforts.

Strategic Location and Future Prospects

The Two Pools project is strategically located just 60 kilometers northeast of the under-utilised Plutonic mill, situated within the northeastern extension of the Plutonic-Marymia greenstone belt. This geologically significant area has already produced over six million ounces of gold. Corazon’s project shares notable geological characteristics with Catalyst Metals’ high-grade Trident deposit, where gold-bearing greenstones lie beneath a thin layer of older granite.

With the heritage survey proceeding swiftly and a detailed diamond drilling program designed to validate previous high-grade findings, Corazon Mining is poised for a productive start to the new year. Following a rapid operational reset, the company has secured its Two Pools tenure, established a key native title partnership, and booked drill rigs. These developments position Corazon to effectively explore what appears to be a promising high-grade gold system in proximity to a ready mill.

As the Gascoyne region gears up for another potential discovery story, Corazon Mining’s initiatives could significantly impact the local mining landscape.
