Originally founded in 2020 in Dallas, Sandoitchi has gained widespread recognition for its inventive approach to Japanese cuisine. The brand has captured the attention of food enthusiasts through numerous pop-up events nationwide, including high-profile appearances at venues such as Coachella and the State Fair of Texas. The brand’s ability to adapt and thrive during the pandemic has contributed to its rapid expansion and dedicated following.
Founder Keith Tran expressed his enthusiasm for the new location, stating, “Though we’re based in Texas, Orange County has always felt like a second home for Sandoitchi since we’ve been part of so many events across Southern California over the past several years. The new Costa Mesa establishment will feature an expansive 1,800-square-foot space, with operating hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Orange County Health Department recently completed multiple plan reviews, granting Sandoitchi the necessary approvals to commence construction.
