Crust Pizza is expanding its presence in Texas with a new restaurant slated to open at 29615 Jordan Crossing Blvd, Suite 250 in Katy. Franchisees Trang Do and Vu Dau are spearheading this venture, which marks their first restaurant under the brand. The duo has plans for additional locations, with a second site already in the works for Fulshear, expected to launch within the next 12 to 18 months.

Dau, who is overseeing the construction of the Katy establishment, expressed his enthusiasm for bringing the Crust Pizza experience to the community. He noted, “I built a few of their locations, I really liked the food and the ambiance, so we decided to franchise.” This commitment highlights their dedication not only to the brand but also to creating a welcoming environment for local families and pizza enthusiasts.

Construction and Features of the New Location

The Katy restaurant is undergoing a comprehensive interior build-out, according to the permits filed for the project. This includes the installation of new gypsum board partitions, a redesigned dining area, a food line, kitchen facilities, and updated restrooms. Mechanical improvements such as new air conditioning ducts and enhanced lighting are also part of the renovations.

The finished location aims to provide a modern and comfortable dining experience for patrons. With Dau playing a significant role in both construction and operational management, the restaurant is poised to offer quality service from day one.

Future Expansion Plans

The Katy Crust Pizza location is part of a multi-unit agreement, signaling the franchise’s commitment to growth in the region. Plans for the Fulshear outlet are already underway, with property development progressing rapidly. This expansion reflects a broader strategy to establish Crust Pizza as a go-to dining option in the area.

If construction proceeds as planned, the Katy location is aiming for a debut in late January 2026. As the franchise prepares to open its doors, the anticipation among local residents continues to grow, promising an exciting addition to Katy’s culinary landscape.
