A family-owned Thai restaurant, Graciously Thai, is set to expand its operations into Orange County. The establishment, known for its late-night offerings, will become one of the first tenants at the new Miramar Food Hall, located at 1720 N El Camino Real, Kiosk #7. This new location is scheduled to open in late fall, with a tentative launch date in November 2023.

Co-owner Tanya Lapthitsate, who grew up in Thailand, expressed her enthusiasm about bringing their culinary traditions to the new community. “At Graciously Thai, every dish comes from our family’s kitchen and our hearts,” Lapthitsate stated. “We cook the same way we do at home — with fresh ingredients, no shortcuts, and the warmth of Thai hospitality.” The Lapthitsate family aims to share the bold and comforting flavors of Thailand with local residents.

Alongside Lapthitsate, her husband, Chef Goeng, manages the kitchen. The couple is currently navigating the permitting process, with construction expected to commence soon. Their vision includes an authentic menu that features traditional Thai comfort foods, such as curries, stir-fries, noodles, and mango sticky rice.

Graciously Thai will prioritize using fresh ingredients and plans to avoid MSG in all its dishes. The restaurant will also offer a range of beverages, including boba tea, Thai iced tea, and Thai iced coffee, catering to diverse tastes.

Hiring for the new location will begin as the opening date approaches, ensuring that the team is ready to welcome customers. As Graciously Thai prepares to establish its presence in Orange County, the local community can look forward to experiencing a taste of Thailand right at the Miramar Food Hall.

In summary, the expansion of Graciously Thai marks an exciting development for both the restaurant and the community it aims to serve. With its focus on authentic flavors and family-driven recipes, it is poised to become a popular dining destination in the region.
