The Jefferson Park neighborhood in Denver is poised to welcome a new culinary destination, the JP Restaurant and Lounge. This establishment will occupy the premises at 2900 W. 25th Ave., previously home to Sarto’s Italian eatery. According to the Denver Post, the restaurant concept was officially registered as a Colorado Trade Name in June 2023 and is linked to Reyes Bar and Venue LLC, operated by Jose Reyes, who also manages the Royal Event Center in Thornton.

Although a specific opening date has not been announced, the restaurant’s Facebook page indicates it is “coming soon.” The venue, spanning 3,000 square feet, will feature two outdoor patios, providing a welcoming atmosphere for diners. In June, Reyes signed a 10-year lease for the space, which has remained vacant for the past five years. Plans also include the development of a basement area featuring a pool and bar.

The JP Restaurant and Lounge will offer a diverse menu that combines classic bar fare with Mexican cuisine and breakfast options. Morning and brunch offerings will include popular dishes such as omelets, French toast, and Eggs Benedict. In the afternoons and evenings, the pub menu will feature a variety of options, including wings, tenders, burgers, and tacos.

As Jefferson Park continues to evolve as a dining destination, the addition of JP Restaurant and Lounge is expected to attract both local residents and visitors. The variety in menu options aims to cater to different tastes and dining preferences, making it a versatile spot for meals throughout the day.

The opening of this new establishment reflects a growing interest in the culinary landscape of Denver, particularly in neighborhoods like Jefferson Park, known for their vibrant community atmosphere. With its strategic location and planned offerings, JP Restaurant and Lounge is positioned to become a popular gathering place for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
