A new dining option is set to open in Riverview, offering a fresh take on pasta. Mister Pasta will debut at 11681 Boyette Road with a focus on customizable, freshly made pasta dishes. The restaurant aims to open its doors in the second week of January 2024, according to owner Tina Detty.

Mister Pasta plans to attract customers with a unique build-your-own pasta experience. Guests can select from six different fresh pasta noodles, an array of sauces, vegetables, and proteins such as chicken, steak, sausage, scallops, lobster, and crab. “We cook it right in front of you,” Detty explained. “Fresh pasta only takes two or three minutes to cook, allowing us to serve quality dishes quickly.”

The pricing is positioned competitively, with pasta bowls starting at $12.99. Detty noted that the quality rivals that of sit-down Italian restaurants, where similar dishes can cost around $25. In addition to pasta, Mister Pasta will offer side dishes like arancini and ravioli, all served in an ambiance described as “Old-World Italian” with handmade seating.

Expansion and Franchising Plans

The Riverview location will be part of the Goolsby Pointe Shopping Center, which is anchored by a Publix supermarket. Detty envisions this opening as the first step in a larger growth strategy, including plans for franchising. “Riverview is just the beginning,” she stated, indicating that other locations may soon follow.

The concept behind Mister Pasta positions it as a fast-service alternative that does not compromise on quality. The focus on freshly made pasta, created on-site, sets it apart from traditional fast food. Patrons can expect a dining experience that is both efficient and elevated.
