Chris and Tiffany Brennaman, known for their successful comic store Infinite Realities, are set to bring a new dimension of entertainment to Tucker, Georgia. The couple plans to open an arcade bar named Infinite Horizons at 2316 Main Street, Suite E, expanding their community-focused business model into a vibrant 2,500-square-foot space. The Brennamans have been cultivating a sense of belonging at Infinite Realities for over six and a half years, and they aim to carry this ethos into their new venture.
In an interview with What Now Atlanta, Chris Brennaman emphasized the importance of community, a value deeply embedded in their business philosophy. “We’re very community-oriented and we foster that,” he stated. Inspired by the inclusive atmosphere of the television show “Cheers,” Chris envisions Infinite Horizons as a place where everyone feels welcome and recognized. “That’s what my wife Tiffany and I have built these last six and a half years at Infinite Realities, and we wanted to expand the business and expand that community model,” he added.
From Comic Books to Arcade Games
Initially, the Brennamans considered opening a second comic store. However, the economic uncertainties surrounding global trade and the heavy reliance on imported paper products in the comic industry prompted a strategic pivot. The couple decided to channel their nostalgia for arcade games into a new business concept that aligns with their community-building goals.
The arcade bar will house 30 arcade machines, offering classics like Pac-Man, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Dance Dance Revolution. The games will be rotated regularly to keep the experience fresh for visitors. Additionally, console gaming will be available, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences.
A Menu for Everyone
Infinite Horizons will not only focus on gaming but also offer a diverse menu to accommodate all tastes. The bar will serve beer and wine alongside non-alcoholic options such as mocktails, sodas, and ice cream. “We want something for everyone here — not just people who want a beer, but also people who don’t drink,” Chris explained. This inclusive approach is designed to make the bar a true community hub.
The Brennamans have been encouraged by the enthusiastic response from the Tucker community since announcing their plans. Chris anticipates that the buildout will take a few months, with a target opening in October. “We are most excited about being an honest-to-goodness third space,” Chris said. “I think that we’re starting to realize that pushing everything online, it was a mistake to let third spaces go away.”
Reviving the “Third Space” Concept
The concept of a “third space” — a place outside of home and work where people can gather and socialize — is central to the Brennamans’ vision for Infinite Horizons. As digital interactions increasingly dominate, the need for physical community spaces has become more apparent. The Brennamans hope their arcade bar will attract a diverse crowd, offering a joyful experience that extends beyond the traditional comic shop audience.
As the arcade bar prepares to open its doors, the Brennamans remain committed to fostering a welcoming environment where visitors can relax and connect.
“You can just exist. Be you, no matter where you are or where you came from,”
Chris remarked, highlighting the inclusive spirit that Infinite Horizons aims to embody.
With Infinite Horizons, the Brennamans are not just launching a new business; they are creating a space that reflects their passion for community and shared experiences. As Tucker eagerly awaits the opening, Infinite Horizons promises to be a lively addition to the local landscape, offering both nostalgia and new memories for all who enter.
