Renowned New York restaurant Philippe Chow is set to open its first Nashville location on October 17, 2023. Located in Cummins Station, within the vibrant Gulch neighborhood, this new establishment will feature a blend of classic Beijing-style cuisine alongside exclusive dishes tailored for Nashville.

The flagship restaurant in New York has been a staple for over two decades, known for its modern interpretation of traditional Beijing dishes. Signature items such as Peking Duck and Chicken Satay will be available, along with unique creations designed specifically for the Nashville clientele. Reservations opened on October 5, allowing eager diners to secure a table at this much-anticipated venue.

Exciting New Additions and Experienced Leadership

Chef Jason Francisco, who has previously led kitchens at notable Nashville establishments like Noelle’s Makeready L&L and Santa Monica’s Sugar Palm, will head the culinary team at Philippe Chow, Nashville. The restaurant’s founder, Philippe Chow, will serve as the Executive Chef, collaborating with Francisco to celebrate the brand’s heritage while introducing new flavors that reflect the local scene.

This Nashville outpost marks the fourth location for the restaurant group in the United States, joining two existing sites in New York and one in Washington, D.C. Abraham Merchant, CEO of Philippe Chow, expressed enthusiasm about this expansion, stating, “Nashville has become one of the country’s most dynamic culinary destinations, and this is the perfect moment to bring our legacy here.” Merchant emphasized the goal of delivering an exceptional dining experience that combines the restaurant’s two-decade legacy with the vibrant culture of Music City.

A Focus on Community and Culinary Excellence

The Nashville location will operate from 5 PM to 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 5 PM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. Angelo Ferrante, the General Manager, previously held leadership roles at Kayne Prime and Yolan at The Joseph, bringing a wealth of experience to the new restaurant.

Executive Chef Philippe Chow highlighted the significance of Nashville’s culinary scene, stating, “With Philippe Chow, we are proud to bring our signature service and dishes into a community that has already set a remarkable standard, and we are here to contribute to it.” The restaurant aims to blend classic Beijing flavors with local ingredients, enriching the culinary landscape of Nashville.

Since its inception in December 2005 on New York’s Upper East Side, Philippe Chow has garnered acclaim for its exquisite Beijing-style dishes served in a luxurious atmosphere. The Nashville opening aims to replicate this success while adapting to the unique tastes and preferences of the local population, ensuring an exciting addition to the city’s dining options.
