Sprouts Farmers Market is set to expand its presence in New York State with the opening of a new store in Centereach on January 30, 2024. This will mark the first store launch for the grocery chain this year, bringing a focus on fresh and natural food options to the local community. The company has planned a series of celebratory events to commemorate the opening, running from January 30 to February 1.
Grand Opening Festivities Planned
The new store, located at 1934 Middle Country Road, will kick off festivities with an opening ceremony on Friday. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:45 AM, followed by the store’s official opening at 7:00 AM. To engage the community, Sprouts will host an outdoor pop-up party from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, and from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 1. The event will feature giveaways, entertainment from a DJ, tasting bars showcasing seasonal produce, and numerous family-friendly activities.
Councilman Neil Manzella expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating, “The arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market is a great win for Centereach. Our community has been in need of a supermarket, and Sprouts not only meets that need but does so with a strong focus on quality and community involvement.”
Community Engagement and Incentives
In addition to the celebrations, Sprouts Farmers Market is set to offer several opening incentives. The first 400 guests on Friday will receive a complimentary long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Shoppers who register for a Sprouts Rewards account during the opening weekend will benefit from a 20% discount on their purchases.
Moreover, the company will contribute $325,000 to the Middle Country Library Foundation. This donation aims to enhance educational programs focused on nutrition, gardening, and wellness for the local community.
