Taziki’s Mediterranean Café is set to open its latest location in Northeast San Antonio on October 16, 2023, at 22103 Bulverde Road, Suite 104. This opening introduces a fresh dining option, featuring scratch-made Mediterranean dishes to the local community. This new café marks Taziki’s eighth establishment in Texas and adds to the brand’s expanding presence across the United States.

Celebrating Expansion in Central Texas

The new San Antonio location represents Taziki’s strategic growth, with over 100 cafés now operating across 18 states. This is the third Taziki’s opening in Central Texas this year, following successful launches in the region. To commemorate the occasion, the café will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m., attended by representatives from the Metro SA Chamber and Taziki’s Corporate Headquarters.

Located at the intersection of Bulverde and Evans Road, the café is conveniently situated near Johnson High School and Sprouts Farmers Market within the Encino Park shopping center. The community is encouraged to join the celebration and sample Taziki’s Mediterranean offerings.

Guests will have the opportunity to customize bowls with a variety of bases including basmati rice, pasta with parmesan, or quinoa, all prepared with fresh Mediterranean ingredients. This flexibility reflects Taziki’s commitment to providing a personalized dining experience.

Community Engagement and Commitment

Lexie Leinneweber, Managing Member of Taziki’s, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the Greater San Antonio community since the brand’s first area location opened in New Braunfels. “With three stores now open, we’re thrilled to continue celebrating with our neighbors. Our fresh, affordable, scratch-made dishes paired with a passion for connecting and serving make Taziki’s a natural fit for San Antonio, and we look forward to many great years ahead,” she said.

The café will operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. This schedule aims to accommodate a variety of dining preferences, ensuring that customers can enjoy Taziki’s offerings throughout the week.

Founded in 1998, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023. The concept was born from the vision of founders Keith and Amy Richards, inspired by a transformative trip to Greece in 1997. The café aims to bring authentic Mediterranean flavors to the United States while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.

With a commitment to community and quality, Taziki’s has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as a top dining option for eight consecutive years. The brand also partners with Giving Kitchen, a food service community that provides emergency assistance to food service workers, demonstrating its dedication to the broader community.

The new San Antonio café promises to deliver Taziki’s signature fresh ingredients and wholesome Mediterranean favorites made to order, further enriching the culinary landscape of the area.
