Toronto is set to embrace a new concept in kosher dining with the launch of Chagall, an intimate restaurant designed to elevate the culinary experience. Opening in November 2025, this 32-seat venue aims to redefine traditional kosher cuisine under the leadership of renowned Chef David Adjey, known for his work as a restaurateur and television personality.

Located in one of Yorkville’s most prestigious addresses, Chagall will offer dinner service five nights a week, from Sunday to Thursday. The menu is crafted for sharing, encouraging connection among guests with a selection of vibrant starters and salads, followed by an array of flavourful mains, including USDA Prime steaks that promise the quality typical of New York’s finest steakhouses.

In a statement, Chef Adjey emphasized the restaurant’s vision, saying, “Chagall is about more than just what’s on the plate. It’s about creating moments, whether it’s the art of tableside service, the surprise of dishes with global flavours, or the feeling of dining somewhere that’s intimate and refined.”

A Culinary Journey Through Global Flavours

The menu at Chagall will showcase a blend of creativity and international influences, featuring dishes inspired by countries like Korea, Mexico, and Thailand. Guests can anticipate unique offerings such as mini tacos, fresh shareable salads, kosher ‘filets,’ and richly sauced mains that introduce flavours seldom seen in traditional kosher establishments.

In addition to the diverse menu, Chagall will present a curated wine list and inventive cocktails. For those wishing to enjoy their preferred selections, the restaurant will offer an exclusive VIP liquor locker program, allowing personalized storage for guests’ favourite bottles.

An Elegant Dining Space Designed by Lori Morris

The aesthetic of Chagall is crafted by designer Lori Morris of LMD Design. The restaurant’s interior will feature a harmonious blend of natural stone, luxurious wood finishes, and high-quality fabrics, including Catherine Martin Mokum materials. Murano glass chandeliers and custom Italian furniture will contribute to an environment that balances sophistication with warmth.

For larger gatherings, the Chagall menu will be available for private dining events, accommodating up to 300 guests throughout the Windsor Arms Hotel dining and event spaces.

With its innovative approach to kosher dining, Chagall promises to create a unique and memorable experience for Toronto’s food enthusiasts, marking a significant addition to the city’s vibrant culinary landscape.
