YumCha Dumpling & Noodle Bar, a beloved eatery in Denver’s Central Park, has undergone a significant transformation. Now rebranded as YumCha Beer Garden, the establishment offers a relaxed, Asian-inspired beer garden atmosphere. Chef and Owner Lon Symensma, in collaboration with City Street Investors—known for successful ventures like Lowry Beer Garden—has reimagined the space to better serve the neighborhood’s dynamic community. “Together with our business partners, we reimagined the space as an Asian-inspired Beer Garden. This new concept feels like the perfect match for the neighborhood, and the response has already been incredible!” Symensma shared with What Now Denver.

A New Concept Takes Root

The transformation of YumCha into a beer garden includes a dedicated outdoor patio area, complete with custom picnic tables, umbrellas, a new outdoor bar, and a frozen drink machine. The eatery has also updated its signage, branding, and window logos to reflect its new identity. The menu has been refreshed to feature beer garden staples infused with YumCha’s signature Asian flair.

Among the menu offerings are burgers, wings, cheese curds, and Reuben spring rolls. Unique dumplings, such as French onion soup dumplings and Colorado pork green chile dumplings, also make an appearance, adding a distinctive twist to traditional beer garden fare.

This rebranding follows the announcement that YumCha will be reviving its downtown location. What Now Denver recently reported that the restaurant plans to reopen at the Milk Market, following the closure of its 16th Street Mall location a few months ago.
