The renowned musician, who is also a mother to Kulture, aged seven, Wave, aged four, and Blossom, aged 14 months, recently welcomed her son with NFL player Stefon Diggs earlier this month. This unique keepsake was crafted by Juliane Marie Corona of Mommy Made Encapsulations, who shared the process on social media.
In an Instagram video, Juliane showcased the meticulous process of shaping the umbilical cord into a heart. After dehydrating it, she coated the piece in gold chrome. She expressed her sentiments in the post, stating, “Where her journey started…turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever.” Juliane emphasized the significance of the umbilical cord as the first connection between a mother and her child, describing it as a lifeline that nourished and protected during pregnancy.
Cardi B has entrusted Juliane with this meaningful task previously, and Juliane expressed her gratitude, stating, “Creating this keepsake is always such an honor, but doing it for Cardi and her sweet baby again means the world to us.”
The pendant is not the only special memento Cardi has received. Juliane also prepared a print of Cardi’s placenta and turned part of it into capsules for Cardi to consume. Sharing another video of this process, Juliane remarked, “Round 2 with the queen herself. Thank you, Cardi, for trusting me again with your magical placenta magic.”
Last week, Cardi B announced on Instagram that she had given birth to her son, reflecting on the new chapter in her life. She wrote, “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season.” Cardi highlighted the challenges of starting over but emphasized the fulfillment it brings, stating, “It’s been so worth it!
