Denise Van Outen, the renowned television presenter and actress, is set to release her first album in over two decades. Titled A Bit of Me, the album will be available in October 2025. This marks a significant return for Van Outen, who has focused on her acting career and stage performances in recent years.

The upcoming album features an array of classic songs reimagined as intimate ballads. A press release describes the record as a collection that includes “piano arrangements, warm harmonies, lush strings, and soaring harps.” Produced by Jamie Sellers, known for his work with artists such as Elton John and Ed Sheeran, the album will showcase timeless tracks like “What Kind of Fool Am I” and “New York State of Mind.”

In addition to these classics, A Bit of Me includes pop hits like George Michael’s “Different Corner,” Gloria Estefan’s “Anything For You,” and “The Harder I Try” by Brother Beyond. A highlight of the album is its title track, which features a new song written by Van Outen and Sellers. The album also includes a duet with Duncan James, a member of the band Blue, and a cover of the beloved song “That’s What Friends Are For.”

To celebrate the album’s announcement, Van Outen will release “The Glory Of Love,” a cinematic cover of Benny Goodman’s classic hit. This track aims to set the tone for what fans can expect from the album.

Van Outen will embark on a tour titled An Evening With Denise Van Outen starting in March 2026. The tour promises an engaging night of music, laughter, and anecdotes from her illustrious career. Since her breakthrough as a presenter on The Big Breakfast in 1996, she has enjoyed a successful career across various platforms, from stage to television.

In 2003, she released an album featuring songs from the acclaimed stage show Tell Me On A Sunday, which she starred in during its run in London’s West End. Her theatre credits also include notable performances in Chicago on both the West End and Broadway, as well as roles in productions such as Legally Blonde and Rent.

In addition to her stage work, Van Outen has narrated popular reality shows like The Only Way Is Essex and has presented numerous documentaries for Channel 4 and Channel 5. Her television credentials include appearances in EastEnders, judging on Ireland’s Got Talent, and participating in shows like Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Singer.

In 2022, she published her best-selling autobiography, A Bit of Me, which further solidified her connection with her fans. With the upcoming album and tour, Denise Van Outen continues to captivate audiences, demonstrating her versatility as an artist and performer.
