Jessie J has announced the cancellation of her upcoming tour dates in the United States to undergo further treatment for breast cancer. The 37-year-old singer revealed her diagnosis and subsequent mastectomy in June 2025. She has since shared on social media that she requires a second surgery, which she describes as “nothing too serious” but necessary to complete by the end of the year.
Tour Plans Altered Due to Health Needs
In an emotional video shared on Instagram on August 28, 2025, the artist known for her hit song “Price Tag” explained the situation to her fans. “As some of you may know, I just had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago, that’s the first thing,” she stated. “The second thing is unfortunately I have to have a second surgery. Nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of the year and unfortunately that falls right in the middle of a tour I had booked.”
Jessie J has confirmed that her UK and European tour dates will be rescheduled to April 2026. However, the US shows will not be rescheduled due to challenges in finding suitable dates. “I haven’t been able to finesse the US dates yet, so unfortunately that will be cancelled,” she said. She expressed her commitment to rescheduling the US concerts, stating, “I am spending all my time trying to find time to make the venues make sense again in a slab of time next year.” Jessie emphasized her desire to perform, adding, “Please bear with us for the US tour, it is something I want to do but when the time is right.”
