Comedian and film star Kevin Hart is set to bring his much-anticipated stand-up tour, Acting My Age, to Australia in September 2023. The tour will kick off at RAC Stadium in Perth on September 23, marking Hart’s return to the Australian stage after his successful Reality Check tour in 2023.
The tour consists of a limited nationwide run, with performances scheduled for Sydney on September 25 and Melbourne on September 26. Hart’s popularity in comedy has been underscored by his recognition as the Highest Grossing Comedian of the previous year, according to Billboard. This latest tour promises to deliver his signature humor to fans across the country.
In addition to his stand-up career, the 46-year-old entertainer has established himself as a versatile force in Hollywood. His filmography includes notable titles such as Get Hard, Ride Along, and the Jumanji series, which collectively have generated an impressive $4.23 billion in global revenue throughout his career. Hart has also received accolades for his performances, including Emmy nominations for his roles in Die Hart and its sequel Die Hart 2. His 2020 Netflix comedy special, Zero Fu**ks Given, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album.
Hart’s upcoming Australian tour will adopt a phone-free policy, a trend that has gained traction among touring comedians and musicians. This initiative aims to enhance the live experience for audiences by encouraging full engagement with the performance.
Despite the excitement surrounding the tour, some fans expressed disappointment over the absence of certain cities from the lineup. Comments such as “Come to Brisbane please!” and “No Adelaide?” emerged in response to the tour announcement by Live Nation. The pre-sale for tickets begins on July 18, with general sales launching on July 22.
As Hart himself declared, “I’m f****** back, baby,” fans can expect a dynamic and entertaining experience as he showcases his comedy once more on Australian soil.
