TikTok users are convinced Tomorrowland is Australia-bound.

Fans of electronic dance music are abuzz with speculation that Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most renowned music festivals, could make its Australian debut in November 2026. This excitement was ignited when attendees at the festival in Belgium spotted a map installation hinting at future locations, with Melbourne prominently featured as a potential host city.

A video showcasing the map surfaced on TikTok, garnering over 120,000 likes and fueling discussions among festival enthusiasts. Many believe that at a minimum, the CORE stage of Tomorrowland may be introduced as part of a boutique event series in Australia. Comments from fans reflect their eagerness, with one person expressing, “I wanna go so freaking bad.”

Despite the enthusiastic buzz, it is important to note that no official confirmation has been made regarding the festival’s Australian plans. As of now, 7NEWS.com.au has reached out to Tomorrowland representatives for clarification but has yet to receive a response. In addition to the potential Australian event, the TikTok video suggested that a festival might also occur in Los Angeles in May 2026.

Tomorrowland is held annually in Boom, Belgium, and attracts approximately 400,000 festivalgoers from around the globe. Since its inception in 2005, it has grown into one of the largest music festivals worldwide.

Earlier this year, just two days before the 2025 event was scheduled to begin, a devastating fire destroyed the iconic main stage. In a display of solidarity, heavy metal band Metallica offered their world tour stage equipment, which was in storage, ensuring the festival could proceed as planned.

Tomorrowland has previously expanded its reach with spin-off festivals in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. If the plans for Australia come to fruition, it would mark a significant milestone for both the festival and Australian music fans, making it a highly anticipated event on the calendar.
