The winners of the popular reality show *Farmer Wants A Wife* have opened up about their experiences relocating to rural Australia after finding love on the program. While some relationships, such as that of Farmer Jarrad and Chloe, did not last, other couples have thrived since filming concluded. Notably, Farmer Corey and Keeley have recently announced Keeley’s successful move to his farm in Biloela, Queensland.
Keeley relocated just three weeks before the series began airing on television. She expressed her enthusiasm about the move, stating, “I love it. I’m still working out of town at the moment, so I’m not on the farm full time just yet, but I will be in the foreseeable future.” Despite her current commitments, Keeley enjoys spending weekends with Corey, participating in activities such as crop tours and tractor rides.
She noted the welcoming nature of the local community, stating, “I just couldn’t have expected anything better.” An important aspect of Keeley’s transition involved her career as an optometrist, a topic that generated considerable discussion during the show. Fortunately, she found an “amazing” job opportunity locally, allowing her to continue her profession full-time. “It’s where I’m really happy in my career, and it just gives me a lot of freedom,” she commented.
Corey shared his elation about finally living with Keeley, saying, “It’s been great. You come home, and Keeley’s here, and it’s unreal.” The couple looks forward to building their future together after months of long-distance dating.
Clarette’s Smooth Transition to South Australia
Clarette, another contestant, made her move to Farmer Thomas’ farm in Kimba, South Australia, shortly after filming wrapped. She and Thomas spent the festive season together, celebrating Christmas in Kimba and New Year’s in Sydney before she officially relocated in January 2024. Clarette found a teaching position quickly, stating, “Being a teacher, I found a job very, very easily, which was amazing because it was pretty late in the year to be able to find a job.”
The South Australian government assisted with her relocation costs, ensuring a smooth transition. Clarette now resides in a house near her school, allowing her to share time between town and the farm. “We live together, but half in town and then half on the farm,” she explained. To integrate into the community, she has joined various local activities. “I’ve thrown myself into everything to try and jump in and get to know everyone in the community, and everyone has been so welcoming.”
Clarette also addressed concerns about her portrayal on the show, particularly after receiving a “villain” edit. She expressed relief at moving before the show aired, allowing the community to understand her true character without preconceived notions. “I’m just so happy that they’ve had a chance to get to know the real me,” she added.
With their relationships flourishing in these rural settings, both Keeley and Clarette demonstrate how life after *Farmer Wants A Wife* can lead to new opportunities and community connections. The journey for these women highlights the profound personal changes that can stem from participating in reality television. As they continue to build their lives alongside their partners, they prove that love can indeed blossom in unexpected places.
