ubet-donates-100-000-to-support-men-s-health-initiative

Tabcorp’s Queensland wagering division, UBET, has reaffirmed its commitment to men’s health by supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia (PCFA) for a second consecutive year. At the Doomben racecourse during the Stradbroke Handicap on June 10, 2023, Adam Rytenskild, Managing Director of Wagering and Media at Tabcorp, presented a donation of $100,000 to Judith Clements AC, Chair of the PCFA Board in Queensland.

Mr. Rytenskild expressed satisfaction in continuing UBET’s support of the foundation, highlighting the brand’s alignment with the cause. “Men make up over 70 percent of our wagering customer base, and we’re pleased to offer our financial support to the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia,” he said. “Through our UBET brand, we communicate to men every day, and we are proud to help deliver the message about men’s health awareness.”

Impact of the Partnership

The partnership between UBET and PCFA serves to enhance both funding and awareness regarding prostate cancer, an issue that affects many men across Australia. Clements noted the significance of collaborating with an organization like UBET, which shares a predominantly male audience. “Securing a partnership with a company like UBET is really powerful in not just funding more research through their generous donations but also support and awareness programs for men suffering from prostate cancer,” she stated.

Clements also expressed gratitude for UBET’s ongoing support. “PCFA is so grateful for the support of UBET through our ongoing partnership, and we are very much looking forward to continuing to work with them and their customers in the future,” she added.

Raising Awareness Through Sport

UBET’s involvement in supporting health initiatives extends beyond financial contributions. The company aims to leverage its platform to raise awareness about men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, through various campaigns and events. By engaging its male customer base, UBET strives to foster a culture of health consciousness and proactive health management.

As the partnership continues, both UBET and the PCFA remain committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by prostate cancer. The collaboration underscores the importance of corporate responsibility in health advocacy, especially in areas that resonate with target audiences.

With the ongoing support from UBET, the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia can expand its reach and impact, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for men nationwide.
