wills-street-eyecare-transitions-to-new-leadership-amid-retirement

Wills Street Eyecare, a trusted eye care practice in Bendigo, has recently undergone a significant leadership transition. After decades of dedicated service, optometrist Mark is retiring to explore Australia’s outback alongside his partner Nicci, leaving the practice he built in capable hands. The new co-owners, Rose Larosa and Kirily Bowen, are eager to continue providing exceptional care to both existing and new patients.

Kirily Bowen has been a part of Wills Street Eyecare since 2000 and has served as a partner for the past eighteen years. Her expertise lies in complex ocular disease, children’s eye care, and vision neuro-rehabilitation. Rose Larosa, who joined the practice in 2021, brings her clinical interests in ocular disease, dry eye management, emergency eye care, and myopia control to the team. Together, they operate a well-established vision therapy clinic within the practice.

To further enhance patient care, two additional optometrists have joined the team. Ava Ward, a familiar face in Bendigo, completed an internship at Wills Street Eyecare and has now returned to her roots. Her clinical focus includes contact lenses, children’s eye care, myopia control, and emergency eye care. Joshua Vettiger brings significant regional experience and a family history that inspired his passion for early detection and management of conditions like glaucoma. His clinical interests encompass emergency eye care, ocular disease management, therapeutic optometry, and preventive eye care.
