Cooper Cutts won his maiden Radical Cup titile.
Western Australia’s Arise Racing has achieved an extraordinary feat by clinching all six titles in the 2025 Radical Cup Australia Championship. This remarkable accomplishment showcases the team’s dominance throughout the season, with standout driver Cooper Cutts emerging as the champion after a year filled with record-setting performances.
Cutts, who narrowly missed the title in 2024, used that setback as motivation. He secured the championship at the season finale held at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in South Australia. With a significant 63-point lead over reigning champion Peter Paddon, Cutts only needed to finish in 12th place to secure the title. However, he chose to push for a win, capping off his season with a victory.
“It’s been a really tough year, and obviously, huge congrats to Pete as well. We fought so hard all year, and even today, it was a really intense battle,” said Cutts. “But yeah, really happy to get it done.” His commitment to excellence was evident as he opted to pursue the lead, reflecting on the importance of seizing the moment.
Arise Racing’s success extended beyond Cutts, as teammates Chris Reindler and Bryce Moore finished third overall in the championship standings. Their collective efforts also secured the Teams Trophy for the second consecutive year, solidifying the team’s reputation in the racing community.
In the rookie category, newcomers Mark Cirillo and Dave Allan claimed the rookie championship, while Ruairi Avern finished as the fourth-best rookie despite missing a round. Additionally, Brad Russell achieved a standout performance by sweeping the Masters, Grandmasters, and Challenge Cup Championships.
Team manager Michael Epple expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishments, highlighting the dedication and professionalism of the entire crew. “This season demonstrated everything we strive to be: the best-presented team, with the most reliable cars, and dominant performances on track,” he stated. “To secure a clean sweep of all six trophies is unbelievable. I am truly grateful to everyone involved: drivers, coaches, mechanics, and crew, whose hard work and dedication made this possible.”
The impressive achievements of Arise Racing not only reflect individual talent but also the collaborative spirit that drives the team forward. As they celebrate this historic season, the focus will undoubtedly shift toward maintaining this momentum in future competitions.
