Sky Sports has announced an extensive new line-up for its coverage of the 2025/26 Premier League season, starting with the highly anticipated match between Bournemouth and champions Liverpool at Anfield on August 15, 2025. This season marks a significant expansion in the number of fixtures broadcast, with Sky Sports committing to show at least 215 matches exclusively live, a substantial increase from the 128 matches aired last season.

Enhanced Viewing Experience for Fans

In an effort to elevate the viewing experience, Sky Sports will now feature every match on the final day of the Premier League, allowing fans to watch all games simultaneously. For the first time in the UK, every 2:00 PM Sunday match will also be broadcast live, providing viewers with real-time access to all fixtures without delays.

Sky Sports aims to keep its punditry team intact, featuring familiar faces such as Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, and Micah Richards, alongside Roy Keane, who is known for his passionate insights. Izzy Christiansen and Jamie Redknapp will contribute to discussions, while Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates, and David Jones will enhance the presenting team.

Interactive Features and Innovations

Sky Sports is also introducing new interactive features designed to engage Premier League fans. The platform’s latest initiative, titled “Fanalysis,” combines fan engagement with match analysis. This feature will offer supporter-driven player ratings across various Sky platforms, including post-match discussions and social media. This move is expected to resonate particularly with fans eager to share their perspectives, notably on players like Harry Maguire.

To further enhance the viewing experience, Sky Sports will present “Supersized Super Sundays,” showcasing up to four matches simultaneously on weekends following midweek European fixtures. Users of Sky TV, NOW, and the Sky Sports app will benefit from the “Multiview” feature, allowing them to watch dynamic live coverage and tailored commentary from all games at once.

As the season progresses, fans can also look forward to “Extra Time,” hosted by Jamie Carragher, which will provide in-depth analysis and recap the day’s events after busy Sundays filled with matches.

Sky Sports’ innovative approach for the 2025/26 Premier League season promises an exciting and engaging experience for football fans, blending traditional viewing with modern interactivity and comprehensive coverage. With its commitment to broadcasting a record number of matches and introducing new features, Sky Sports aims to solidify its position as a leading sports broadcaster in the UK and beyond.
