AFGRI Equipment recently unveiled its high-horsepower 9RX tractor, marking a significant milestone in agricultural technology for 2025. The launch took place in August at the company’s South Guildford branch, where it attracted considerable attention from local graingrowers in Western Australia. General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Jacques Coetzee, highlighted the tractor’s capacity to handle heavy deep-ripping and spading equipment as one of its most appealing features.
“This model has generated a great deal of interest, and we are pleased to offer the most powerful tractor currently available on the market,” Coetzee stated. The 9RX tractor boasts horsepower options of 710, 770, and 830, providing the necessary power for a variety of farm applications.
The timing of this launch coincides with what is expected to be a record grain-producing season. Coetzee expressed confidence in the capabilities of the John Deere X9 and S series harvesters, which have proven effective in efficiently harvesting crops. “The performance of John Deere harvesters has been impressive, enabling quicker crop removal and minimizing losses,” he noted. He emphasized that the machines’ efficiencies, particularly when utilizing the Harvest Automation technology, have been consistently beneficial.
Looking forward to 2026, Coetzee indicated that enhancing customer experience would be a primary focus. “While we are already demonstrating our complete product offering, we recognize there is always room for improvement,” he remarked. As farmers increasingly seek to optimize their operations, AFGRI is committed to ensuring their customers can achieve those incremental gains.
Key strategies for improvement include maintaining an adequately stocked parts distribution center in Perth and enhancing the efficiency of the AFGRI Connect centre. “Our AFGRI Connect centre continues to expand,” Coetzee explained. “As technology evolves, it is crucial that we develop the necessary knowledge and capacity to support our customers throughout the year.”
