Apple has introduced the new Powerbeats Fit earbuds, marking a significant evolution in its audio product lineup. Launched on September 30, 2025, the Powerbeats Fit succeed the Beats Fit Pro and are now rebranded under the renowned Powerbeats name. Priced at $199.99, these earbuds are designed with a focus on improved comfort and fit, making them ideal for fitness enthusiasts.
The standout feature of the Powerbeats Fit is their redesigned wingtip, which has been enhanced to be 20% more flexible than that of their predecessor, the Beats Fit Pro. This update aims to provide a more secure and comfortable fit, particularly for users who previously found the design less accommodating. Rather than the traditional ear hook style of the Powerbeats Pro, the Powerbeats Fit incorporate a wingtip design that gently secures the earbud inside the ear, ensuring stability during workouts.
Enhanced Features and Durability
In addition to the revamped design, the Powerbeats Fit come with a 17% smaller charging case, making them more portable. Users will also receive four sizes of ear tips—extra-small, small, medium, and large—allowing for a customizable fit. The earbuds are built to withstand intense physical activity, boasting an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, which means they can handle exposure to water and sweat without compromising performance.
Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats, stated, “Reintroducing Beats Fit Pro as Powerbeats Fit unifies our lineup under a name synonymous with athletic performance.” He emphasized that these earbuds combine the best aspects of previous models while offering next-level comfort and durability.
Powerbeats Fit are equipped with Apple’s H1 audio chip, ensuring seamless connectivity, particularly for iOS users. They support features such as Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and Personalized Spatial Audio, allowing users to tailor their listening experience. The earbuds deliver up to seven hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation enabled, which remains consistent with the performance of the Beats Fit Pro. With the charging case, total battery life extends to 30 hours.
Sound Quality and User-Friendly Controls
The sound quality of Powerbeats Fit is designed to impress, featuring an ergonomic shape that supports a custom acoustic platform. The earbuds are engineered to provide powerful and balanced audio across a broad spectrum, making them suitable for music, movies, and gaming. The Adaptive EQ technology adjusts the sound output based on each earbud’s fit, ensuring an optimal listening experience.
Users can easily manage calls and music playback through on-device controls, and the earbuds are compatible with Siri for hands-free assistance. For Android users, the Beats app provides features like one-touch pairing and customizable controls.
The introduction of Powerbeats Fit also reflects Apple’s commitment to sustainability, as the packaging is made from 100% plant-based materials sourced from recycled fibers and sustainable forests.
Powerbeats Fit are available for order today in four vibrant colors: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink. They will start shipping on October 2, 2025, offering customers a blend of style and performance in one compact package.
