forland-l7-truck-launches-a-new-era-in-logistics-efficiency

The launch of the FORLAND L7 automatic transmission truck marks a significant advancement in the logistics industry. Unveiled on December 5, 2025, in Beijing, this new vehicle aims to enhance safety, efficiency, and intelligence in transportation, following extensive research and real-world testing.

Built to accommodate a variety of logistics needs, the FORLAND L7 covers a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) range of 6 to 12 tons. It offers a diverse selection of 13 engine options, including natural gas and Cummins diesel engines. The truck’s configurations also feature wheelbases ranging from 3,360 mm to 5,750 mm and cargo box lengths extending from 3,800 mm to 8,500 mm.

For driver comfort and functionality, the L7 provides options for cabin width and layout. The extended row cabin includes a fold-flat passenger seat that transforms into a 950 mm-wide sleeper, catering to long-haul drivers. Inside, the vehicle boasts a dual-screen display, 26.6 liters of storage, and a low-noise environment, creating a modern workspace.

The L7’s performance is notable, particularly the 9-ton model, which is powered by a Cummins 3.8L engine paired with a ZF 6S600 AMT gearbox. This combination delivers 168 horsepower, a maximum speed of 113 km/h, and impressive fuel efficiency at just 15 liters per 100 km. These figures indicate a fuel cost reduction of more than 15% compared to competitors.

Safety features are integral to the L7’s design. Optional advanced active systems, including Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), fatigue monitoring, 360-degree cameras, and tire pressure monitoring, enhance road safety. The truck’s robust construction includes a high-strength cab, reinforced chassis, stabilizer bars, and upgraded tires, ensuring durability in extreme conditions, such as temperatures as low as -40°C and altitudes up to 5,200 meters.

Driver comfort is further prioritized with features like air-suspension seats, adjustable steering, and efficient air-conditioning. To support ownership, FORLAND provides a 3-year/150,000 km warranty, global diagnostic assistance, and an extensive parts network.

According to chinatrucks.org, the FORLAND L7 represents not just a vehicle but a transformative step for the logistics sector. Its blend of intelligence, high performance, safety, and comfort positions it as a valuable asset for global logistics partners embracing the future of trucking.
