Haier Europe, a subsidiary of the world’s largest household appliance manufacturer, Haier Smart Home, is set to showcase its vision for a “Naturally Connected” smart home ecosystem at IFA Berlin. The exhibition will take place from September 5 to 9, 2023, across a substantial 3,000 square meter space. CEO Neil Tunstall will inaugurate the event with a press conference at 15:00 on September 4 at stand 101 in Hall 3.1.

The exhibition emphasizes sustainability and the integration of smart home technology through the hOn app platform, which now supports over 70% of Haier Europe’s product range. The “Naturally Connected” concept aims to create meaningful connections between technology, people, and the environment, while simultaneously reducing ecological impact through innovative solutions. Notably, Haier Europe has achieved a remarkable 98% waste recovery rate with Zero Waste certification for its plants in Turkey. The company also targets sourcing 60% of its energy from renewable sources by 2025 and has cut water usage by over 50% since 2020.

At the heart of the exhibition stands a symbolic hOn Tree, representing the digital platform that connects and manages over 30 product families, including energy management systems. This app leverages artificial intelligence and strategic partnerships to provide personalized smart home experiences, featuring predictive maintenance and energy optimization capabilities.
