potisedge-partners-to-deliver-over-3gwh-of-energy-storage-in-australia

PotisEdge has announced the establishment of three significant partnerships aimed at delivering over 3GWh of energy storage systems across Australia. This initiative was unveiled on November 7, 2025, during the 2025 All-Energy Australia exhibition. The strategic collaborations position PotisEdge to enhance its presence in the country’s energy storage market, which encompasses residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale segments.

In the residential sector, PotisEdge has appointed Club Solar as its official distributor for energy storage systems. The agreement includes a total contracted volume of 2GWh over the next three years. The residential energy storage systems will be integrated with PotisEdge’s virtual power plant (VPP)-ready technology, allowing households to engage in grid balancing and generate additional income through a partnership with CovaU Energy. This collaboration aims to help homeowners reduce electricity costs while creating new revenue opportunities.

For the C&I market, PotisEdge has partnered with PowerBay to supply 200 units of its energy storage solutions to Australian enterprises. PowerBay’s expertise will facilitate the delivery of customized and competitive solutions designed to lower energy expenses and support sustainability efforts among businesses.

In relation to large-scale storage, PotisEdge has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Auspira for a combined 1GWh of utility-scale and C&I storage deployments. This mixed-project portfolio will provide comprehensive grid and energy management solutions catering to a broad range of Australian energy providers and consumers.

During the exhibition, PotisEdge also showcased innovative products tailored specifically for the Australian market. The OmniCube-L233 and PotisFlexi-L261x systems represent highly integrated C&I energy storage solutions suitable for environments such as industrial parks and solar-integrated charging applications. Additionally, the PotisBank-L6.25-AC is designed to support grid frequency regulation and facilitate renewable energy integration for utility-scale projects.

All partnerships include localized technical support to ensure seamless integration and a consistently high operational experience. PotisEdge is also pursuing certification from the Clean Energy Council (CEC) to facilitate product entry into the market, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Australia.

These collaborations solidify PotisEdge’s position as a key player in Australia’s energy transition, delivering internationally recognized storage technology backed by local expertise. The company operates globally, with wholly-owned subsidiaries in countries such as Sweden, the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong SAR. Its manufacturing bases are located in Suzhou, China, and Atlanta, USA, with a current production capacity of 31GWh and plans to expand to over 100GWh by 2028.

PotisEdge’s strategic approach combines cutting-edge innovation, operational excellence, and financial stability, positioning the company to serve C&I and utility-scale clients worldwide effectively.
